Produced in 2009 (by way of celebrating our 25th Anniversary), has proved to be a real labour of love, which has seen many members, both past and present, making a real contribution to the book's production. This beautiful book has a dark brown binding with cream lettering and the pictures on its cover show views of Bramley taken in the early part of the 20th century. Its 72 pages incorporate members' experiences at various times in their lives, i.e. school days, home life, working days, social and church activities. There are many accompanying photographs which help build up a fascinating insight into 'the way were'. A good read!

Published in 2007, Then And Now with its deep blue binding and golden lettering contains over 100 pages of black and white photographs, of which we feel justifiably proud. Each page shows a photograph of Bramley, as it was before the demolition period of the 1960's and 70's, and on the opposite page a view of how it looks today. All photographs are accompanied by descriptive wording.
Many hours have lovingly and painstakingly gone into the production of Then and Now, which is a visual record showing the changes made to Bramley, and we feel this is an absolutely MUST HAVE for "Bramley-ites" everywhere; especially so for those of you who left the area prior to the great changes made and shown so graphically in our book. |
